Tuberose oil

Tuberose oil is extracted using the process of solvent extraction from the flowers of Polianthes tuberosa, which is also known as tuberose and tubereuse. Polianthes tuberose is a plant with highly fragrant flowers and with elongated spikes that are capable of growing up to the height 18m. The process of its extraction is known as Enfleurage. The flowers that are used in the extraction process are only those which are fresh and the petals of which haven’t opened yet. This flower is in use from the ancient times and its usage has been very vivid.

Origin of Tuberose oil
