Elemi oil

Elemi oil is extracted using the process of steam distillation from the resin of Canarium luzonicum (which is also known as C. commune) which belongs to the Burseraceae family and it is also known as Manila elemi. Canarium luzonicum is a tropical tree that is found in the Philippines and it has the potential of growing up to the height of 98 feet (30 meters) high. When the tree sprouts, it leaves secretes a pale yellow resin. This resin has the ability to solidify when it gets in contact with air and it stops the secretion of the resin when the tree starts to lose its leaves. This resin or gum is exporter from Manila in basically two qualities which are known as the Primera and the Secunda. The Primera is the cleaned gum while the Secunda is the unclean gum which is still crude. The usage of Elemi oil is found known to be by the ancient Egyptian civilizations for embalming. Nowadays, it is used in making various soaps, incense and varnish too.

It eliminated my accumulation of phlegm

A few months back, I was suffering from the problem of deposition of phlegm in my respiratory tracts. I was searching for a natural remedy to overcome the problem. Finally, I got suggested by my uncle to use elemi oil which proved to be highly effective for me. It would be pleasure to recommend this oil to others too who are suffering from the same problem.
